    I agree on all points above. It sounds like there is a bit of a mismatch between resident needs as you have described and scheduled programming. I am in favour of working with residents and city staff to encourage better congruence so resident needs and demands for programs such as swimming can match between with city program scheduling.

    This would include better staffing, better scheduling and exploring options for more hours. I believe part of the issue with CHD pools is required maintenance and lack of capacity, one of the main reasons that the new Seaton Community Centre is being built. While that won't be operational until 2030 or so, that does not mean we cannot work with city staff to ensure we are getting the best value for money for residents today by making sure we are meeting resident needs.

      Thank you for your reply. I am looking forward to the Seaton Community Center, but given that it is years away I'd love to see some scheduling and staffing improvements at CHRDC.
